TIRANA, March 1 /ATA/ During the night and in the early hours of the morning rainy and snowy weather has swept across the mountainous areas in the country .
The Albanian Road Authority, making a brief overview of the traffic situation, announced that the contractors have been on the ground to clear the roads from snow, from debris in areas affected by heavy rain and have applied salt to avoid frost.
According to ARA, the circulation is running smoothly on all national axes, while in the Kruja-Sarisalltik axis it is recommended the use of chains.
“Vehicle drivers must strictly adhere to road signage, reduce speed, be equipped with winter chains and tires, follow the instructions of the Traffic Police,” according to ARA.
