TIRANA, February 24 /ATA/ Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu received today at the venues of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection some newly employed doctors in the public health system, through the medical portal.shendetesia.gov.al.
Emphasizing the transparent and meritocratic process, Manastirliu said that since 2021 until today, over 370 doctors have been employed in the public health system.
During the meeting with the new doctors, Manastirliu stressed that with the establishment of the new Agency for Standards and Health Care, the new doctors will get involved in mentoring and training programs for their constant education.
“What is important for you and for the citizens who expect quality services, is exactly the quality of service and the best possible service that doctors have to provide in health care structures. Therefore, we have considered that with the new Agency of Standards and Health Care, we shall be able to include new doctors in mentoring programs. So, experienced doctors are to stay close to you to support you with your work “, said Manastirliu.
The minister announced that the salaries of doctors and nurses will increase again in July this year by 6%, while the increase will continue throughout this governing mandate by 40%. / K.s // a.a /p.s./
