TIRANA, Feb 20 /ATA/ The political leader of the Socialist Party for the region of Fier, Taulant Balla, accompanied by the General Director of the National Civil Protection Agency, Haki Çako and the Mayor, Eriselda Sefa, saw first-hand the work for the construction of the dam on River Shkumbin in Thanasaj Administrative Unit in Lushnje.
In his remarks, Balla said that “the construction of the river dam was a pressing need for this zone, because the river risked flooding the homes in rainy weather.”
Also, Balla assured the residents of this area that after the completion of the river dam, the next project is construction of the road in Thanasaj that will ease the movement of residents in the area.
