TIRANA, February 16/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed today his conviction that in the upcoming local by-elections of March 6, “Lulzim Basha will be true to his profile, i.e. he will lose again.”
During a conversation in Washington with Albanian journalists, Rama responded to their interest in the current political situation in Albania.
Asked about the by-elections on March 6, Rama said that Lulzim Basha does not win.
“Lulzim Basha cannot win anything, never, in any case. So, he has lost in the past and he will always stay true to his profile which is to lose again”, he said.
Regarding Berisha-Meta alliance, prime minister said that the alliance between the two is not potential, it is real; it will be intensified in the future as much as to define their similarity.
The prime minister also took the opportunity to speak about US investments in Albania.
“What the Secretary has underlined today is precisely the increase in the interest of American companies as a result of the US government’s encouragement to see Albania as a destination for increasing its economic presence, is directly related to increasing confidence in the state system in Albania and of course the justice system in Albania that is still on the construction site, but that is certainly in a process of transformation, so this is definitely an advantage,” said Rama. /j.p/p.s./
