TIRANA, February 13 /ATA/ Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha stated today that the construction of 3 incinerators has cost Albanians, impoverished by the economic crisis, pandemic and misgovernment, a minimum of 430 million Euros, while calling on the Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SPAK) to act without wasting time to stop the continued theft of Albanians’ money.
“On Monday, there will begin the interrogation of the administrators of the three crime scenes that have cost Albanians, impoverished by the economic crisis, pandemic and misgovernment at least 430 million Euros,” said Basha, during a press conference with members of the Democratic Party in the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry for Incinerators.
According to him, it is already clear how these hundreds of millions of Euros were robbed from Albanians through the incinerator scheme.
“Thanks to the work of our members, the Parliamentary inquiry commission, which Edi Rama wanted to sabotage, everyone can now see how the money of Albanians has been stolen”, said Basha.
Basha also focused on the procedures performed for incinerators.
“Can a government carry out 17 official acts procedure in a single day, without the approval of the prime minister, as was the case on December 16 for the Elbasan incinerator?” Basha asked.
Basha stressed that this is the most criminal corruption scandal of stealing money from Albanians.
He addressed a call to the Special Anti-Corruption Structure and asked them to act without wasting time to stop the continuation of theft of Albanian money.
Basha asked the SPAK to act with the arrest of those responsible./p.s./
