TIRANA, Feb 10 /ATSH/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Thursday that what the SP has done for Justice in these few years is unprecedented, not in the history of our country, but in its entirety.
In a media briefing after the meeting of the SP leadership, Rama said that, “we have gathered for the National Consultation because as the distribution of questionnaires is halfway the time is ripe to start an engagement in the territory and we will reach out all across the territory to talk to people on the topics of National Consultation, on the need to listen to each other and deepen this process.
“It is a new process, but I hope that step by step it will give us the opportunity to loop politics in on any issue that concerns people’s daily lives, issues that are related to government decisions.”
Rama said that the local by-elections were also at issue during the meeting. “We talked about numbers. You know we have a tested mechanism that gives us numbers in territory. We talked about our position in all 6 municipalities. The position is relatively good,” he continued.
Pressed for the patronage volunteers, Rama said that they have started work. “Patronage volunteers are part of the SP. they are like you, they are on the ground doing their job,” said Rama.
Asked about the unification of votes with the DP for the extension of the Vetting bodies’ mandate, Rama said that, “everything that brings unity is something positive.”
