TIRANA, Feb 6 /ATA/ The overpass of the Kukës airport road has completed.
The news was announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who also published images from the completed overpass.
“Good morning and with the completed overpass of the Kukes airport road, ready for the flows that will be brought soon by the program of already contracted flights, I wish you a peaceful Sunday ahead,” says Rama.
Commercial flights from Kukes have started from July 15 last year. Recently, Kukës airport is already a certified part of NATO logistics, which shows once again that this airport meets the technical security requirements of EU and NATO.
After successful tests, the planes of WizzAir company have landed a few days ago in international airport “ZAYED – North Wings” in Kukës to fly to the first destinations, such as Austria, Germany and Switzerland, initially twice a week. Travel prices are 19 euros, for each destination.
