TIRANA, Feb 4 /ATA/ A complicated procedure for the treatment of gastric cancer was successfully performed on Friday at the Surgical Hospital of “Mother Teresa” University Hospital Centre, Tirana.
The news was announced by Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, who emphasizes that the intervention was successfully performed by the team led by prof. Arben Gjata, including dr. Ardit Kaçani, dr. Krenar Lilaj, dr. Kosta Gjyli and nurse Manda Cani, Inejada Dishti.
“Complicated surgeries for the treatment of tumors are being successfully performed in the public health service, expanding in recent years the range of interventions and their volume, in response to the needs of citizens,” said the minister.
