TIRANA, February 3 /ATA/ The Independent Qualification Commission dismissed today from office the Prosecutor in the Prosecution Office of the Court of First Instance Tirana Elina Kombi.
The Independent Qualification Commission held today a session announcing the decision for the subject of re-evaluation Elina Kombi.
The trial panel composed of Firdes Shuli, Brunilda Bekteshi, Suela Zhegu analyzed the evidence and facts and decided to dismiss Kombi because of questions on her wealth. The commission found financial impossibility for the creation of her wealth and suspicions were raised that the prosecutor had done fiscal evasion from an unregistered hotel.
Elina Kombi started her career in the justice system in 1994. She initially worked as a prosecutor in the Pogradec Prosecutor’s Office and since 2013 she has been working in the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office. /j.p/p.s./
