TIRANA, February 3 /ATA/ There has been an improvement of labor market indicators thanks to the economic growth of the country.
The Bank of Albania reported that, “Both employment and the rate of participation of the able workforce has increased”.
Referring to official statistics, the unemployment rate dropped to 11.3% in the third quarter of 2021. While the average wage increased by 6.9% and by about 8% in the private sector.
The BoA notes that monetary and fiscal stimulus has provided significant support for the recovery process, both in terms of economic growth and in maintaining monetary and financial stability and boosting employment./p.s./
