TIRANA Jan 31 /ATA/ – By I.Vata/ The High Prosecution Council accepted on Monday the request of the High Inspector of Justice for disciplinary measure “dismissal” for the prosecutor Belina Zeneli of the Prosecution at the First Instance Court of Dibra.
The investigation against the magistrate started after the complaint filed with High Inspectorate of Justice by the General Prosecutor.
The disciplinary investigation that spanned the period 2013-2021 concluded that the actions and inactions of the prosecutor constitute unjustified and repeated failure to perform the functions during the investigation, leading to unjustified delays of procedural acts, which are mandatory for execution by magistrates.
The magistrate’s actions have had repercussions on the administration of justice and have tarnished the image of the prosecution body by undermining public confidence in justice.
