TIRANA, Jan 25 /ATA/ After Prosecutor in Tirana Judicial District Court, Gjon Kodra, was confirmed in office by Independent Qualification Commission, the International Monitoring Operation has presented to the Public Commissioners the recommendation to appeal the decision to the Special Appellate College.
The Public Commissioners are reviewing, within the legal deadline, the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and the recommendation of the International Monitoring Operation.
Based on the law “On the transitional re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania,” Public Commissioners, within 15 days from the date of notification of the decision by the Independent Qualification Commission, have the right to file an appeal with the Special Appellate Panel.
On December 21, 2021, the Independent Qualification Commission confirmed in office Gjon Kodra, prosecutor in the Prosecution at the Tirana Judicial District Court.
