TIRANA, January 25/ATA/ The first phase of establishment of the Art Park, on the area of the former Film Studios by European Union funds, has been completed.
Minister of Culture Elva Margariti gave the news emphasizing that the works have entered on the second phase with funds from the state budget.
“The first phase of the Art Park project, located in the area of the former Film Studios, with European Union funds, has been completed. We are working for the second phase, with funds from the state budget, to restore this area to the community of artists and the local people”, said Margariti.
The project covers over 16 thousand square meters of outdoor area and over 2100 square meters of indoor area.
This Park will serve not only as an area for art, but also for the employment of artists.
The Art Park will transform the public space around Film Studios in the service of art and the community, giving the area a great development./p.s./
