TIRANA, Jan 18 /ATA/ The Chairman of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, received on Tuesday in a meeting at the Presidency of the Parliament of Albania seat the Chairman of Alternativa Party in North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi.
Balla congratulated Gashi for his decision to join the new ruling coalition.
According to Balla, never before have Albanians in North Macedonia had an equal representation in the government as today.
“It is a pleasure to receive in the Presidency of the Albanian Parliament seat the Chairman of the Alternativa Party in North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi, whom I congratulated on the decision to be part of the new governing coalition. Never before have Albanians in North Macedonia had an equal representation in the Government as today. This should serve as an opportunity to advance reforms on the European path,” Balla underlined.
During the meeting, Balla and Gashi talked about the European integration process of the two countries and the importance of deepening cooperation between our parliaments.
