TIRANA, January 7 /ATA/ Rain and snow have been falling all over the territory of the country, while the Albanian Road Authority informed that the vehicles can move along the roads.
“There has been rain and snow in the north of the country, but without causing problems like blocking the movement of vehicles. There has been snowfall in the region of Kukës at an altitude of over 600 m, in the region of Dibra, as in Kuben-Vasije, Peshkopi-Qafë Drajë, in the region of Shkodra, as in Qafë Mali-Fierzë, Vau i Dejës-Pukë-Fushë “Arrëz-Fushë Dukagjin”, the Road Authority said.
According to the Road Authority, the contractors have worked using snowplows to clear the road of snow and distributing salt.
“Vehicle drivers should be careful in movement and respect road signs to reduce speed, to be equipped with chains and winter tires if they travel along roads with the presence of snow and follow instructions of the Traffic Police”, appealed the Road Authority. /j.p/r.e/p.s./
