TIRANA, Jan 6 /ATA/ Microfinance institutions recorded a positive increase in lending in the third quarter of 2021.
The Bank of Albania announces that the microfinance lending portfolio, at the end of the third quarter, reached ALL 41.7 billion.
Compared to the same period a year ago, lending by these institutions increased by 12.7%.
According to the BoA, only in the third quarter, the total microfinance loan portfolio increased to ALL 500 million, compared to the third quarter of last year, when the market was adversely affected by the first wave of the pandemic.
