The Bank of Albania announces that in the third quarter of the year, foreign direct investments (FDI) in the financial market amounted to euro 38 million.

Compared to the corresponding period a year ago, FDI records 41% more.

According to the BoA, for the first 9 months of this year, investments in this sector amounted to 114 million euros, 31% more compared to 2020.

Experts in the field say that the banking sector continuously brings significant inflows of investment, because the growth of commercial banks requires a gradual increase of share capital to be in line with regulatory requirements.
