TIRANA, Dec 31/ATA/ Tirana, the capital of Albania, adorned with colorful lights, is waiting for the New Year to come.
The city, which looks enchanting in a dazzling display of light and color, has attracted the attention of citizens, but also of local and foreign visitors during these holidays.
“Skënderbej” Square in recent years has become the center of celebrations. Throughout the day, but also in the evening, the hubs and the makeshift theme park in the square are frequented by people of all ages, but of course the happiest of all in this festive atmosphere are the children.
Last year, due to the pandemic restrictions, the people of the capital enjoyed the firework display from the balconies, while this year the Technical Committee of Experts decided to lift the curfew on New Year’s Eve.
