TIRANA, December 23/ATA/ The depreciation of the European currency Euro versus Albanian Lek at the local exchange rate market marked today the lowest level in the last 15 years, reaching the quota of 120.60 Lekë.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the euro was exchanged on Thursday at 120.60 Lekë, or 0.06 Lekë less than on Wednesday, while the depreciation of the euro against the lek has continued throughout this week.
The US currency also weakened its position. The US dollar is exchanged today for 0.30 Lekë less than the day before, at the value of 106.49 Lekë.
While the British pound and the Swiss franc strengthened by 0.74 Lekë and 0.05 Lekë, respectively.
The British currency is exchanged at 142.81 Lekë and the Swiss Franc at 115.76 Lekë./p.s./
