TIRANA, December 22 /ATA/ Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka said today that U.S. support for Albania’s democratic transition has been vital.
“We can hardly exaggerate the fact that the U.S. support for Albania’s democratic transition has been vital,” Xhaçka said in a reaction.
“Ambassador Ryerson will forever have the gratitude of the Albanians for the reconstruction of Albania-U.S. relations after the isolation of communism”, stressed Xhaçka.
Minister Xhaçka shared in the social media the post of the U.S. Ambassador in Tirana Yuri Kim, who yesterday marked the 30th anniversary of William Ryerson presenting his credentials as the first U.S. Ambassador to a newly democratic Albania. /a.a/p.s./
