“Open Balkan” is neither a greater Serbia, nor a greater Albania, but removal of border barriers, says Vucic

TIRANA, December 21 /ATA/ President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated that the “Open Balkans” initiative is neither a greater Serbia, nor a greater Albania, but the removal of border barriers for business.

At a joint press conference after the signing of the “Open Balkan” agreements between Serbia-Albania and North Macedonia”, Vucic said that this is the culmination of a work for almost two and a half years.

“We have discussed these extensively but we had not managed to complete some of the bureaucratic procedures, but thanks to the persistence of all of us in our teams we have managed to get things going so that the citizens of our countries can see the benefits of these achievements in North Macedonia and in Albania and Serbia”, he said.

Vucic emphasized that the “Open Balkans” has nothing to do with a greater Serbia, a greater Albania, or a greater Macedonia./p.s./
