TIRANA, Dec. 15/ATA/ INSTAT reported today that, the volume of sales index in all production sectors increased by 19.0%, compared to the same period a year ago.
Indicators on producers of goods include economic activities: industry (Mining and Manufacturing); Electricity, Gas, Steam; Water supply, waste treatment and management; Construction.
According to INSTAT, the volume of production index (VoPI) increased by 12.2%, compared to the same period a year earlier; the number of employees index increased by 0.3%, compared to the same period of the previous year, and the salary fund index increased by 10.9%, compared to the same period of the previous year.
The volume of sales index increased by 66.9% in the electricity, gas and water sector, compared to the same period a year ago, INSTAT reports.
The construction sector recorded a positive performance in all indicators. The sales index increased by 1.7%, compared to the same period a year earlier. The production index was 1.0% higher and the number of employees increased by 2.2%. //a.i/
