TIRANA, Dec. 15/ATA/ The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha stated today that, the fight against corruption, as well as decriminalization is vital for Albania.
In a press conference at the DP headquarters, Basha said that, “the fight against corruption like decriminalization is vital for Albania, the rule of law, human rights, the European future that all Albanians want. Without concrete results in this war, nothing can change.”
In his remarks, the DP leader Basha stressed that, the fight against corruption and crime remains his and the DP’s mission.
US sees the fight against corruption its top priority, because it undermines the national interest. A handful of people have robbed everything. The ministers here are involved in money laundering and misuse of public funds. The vetting of politicians is a tool to fight corruption and links to crime, an example of our serious efforts. We support justice in all actions against this enemy of the welfare of Albanians.
DP and I salute all those prosecutors and investigators of the new justice system who have begun to crack down on corruption at the highest levels despite the great daily pressure.
We will continue to do our duty through denunciations of the rampant corruption of the Rama government, the most corrupt government in Europe according to all international reports, thus we will strongly support and salute all the blows that justice does against the enemy of welfare of Albanians,” DP leader Basha added. //a.i/
