TIRANA, Dec. 14/ATA/ The Mayor of Durrës, Emiriana Sako held today a meeting with the representatives of the World Bank (IBRD and IFC) to discuss the opportunities for cooperation in the field of sustainable mobility.
The meeting was attended by Ramon Munoz-Raskin, IBRD representative, Emiliano Zhuleku, WB coordinator for Albania, Mark Finer, WB expert and Artan Guxho, public transport expert.
In her remarks, Sako said that, “during the meeting we focused on identification of the needs of the city of Durrës to better address sustainable mobility: modernization of public transport, construction of other bicycle lanes, new parking spaces for bicycles.”
According to Sako, the opportunities for technical support and financing of concrete projects on sustainable mobility were also the main items of the discussion. //a.i/
