TIRANA, December 13 /ATA/ The Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) confiscated today a wealth of one million Euro created from the international drugs trafficking to Denmark.
The confiscated one million Euro, along with a chicken farm, 5 cars and 220 thousand Euros in cash belonged to Astrit Beqiraj’s gang and now they are transferred to the state.
“The wealth has been created through criminal activity and international drugs trafficking to Denmark. The amount of one million Euros now gets transferred to the state along with a chicken farm in Shkodra in the amount of 400 thousand Euros, 5 cars as well as 173 500 € and 8.6 million lekë cash”, is read in the SPAK announcement.
SPAK has charged Astrit Beqiraj for the penal offence of trafficking of narcotics in context of a criminal gang operating not only in Denmark, but also in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium and Albania./j.p/p.s./
