TIRANA, December 4 /ATA/- The Municipality of Tirana has reopened the soft loan program for families and young couples who want to buy a house.
Homeless families in the capital will have the opportunity to benefit from a loan interest subsidy for the purchase of an apartment.
The Municipality said that based on the Social Housing Program “On Subsidizing the interest on the loan” all interested citizens are notified to submit their applications (phase I) for the Social Housing Program on “Subsidizing the interest on the loan” to the Administrative Units / Neighbourhoods from 06.12.2021 until 10.01.2022”.
The Social Housing Program for “Subsidizing loan interest rates aims to support the purchase of first homes, in order to improve their living conditions. The basic criteria submitted by individuals / families interested in benefiting from the social housing program for “Credit interest subsidy”, will be: individuals who, at the time of application, have reached the age of 18; families who do not own an apartment at the time of the application; households that own living space below housing norms; households owning income within the limits set out in the table below.
Since Veliaj’s arrival at the helm of the Municipality of Tirana, the “Credit Interest Subsidy” program has reopened after being closed by the previous administration.
This program focuses on improving the living conditions of young families and couples, who do not have the economic ability to afford the free market offer of housing or that of mortgage loans in the market.
The purpose of this project is to support young families and couples in buying houses, with the aim of improving their living conditions./p.s./
