TIRANA, December 3 /ATA/ The economic assistance for the families who have 3 or more children under the age of 18 will double starting from January 1, 2022.
Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that over 15 thousand families will benefit from this measure of the government.
The government has stated that the 2022 budget includes the social package to support families and citizens in need.
In addition to doubling economic assistance, the government has also increased the unemployment benefits.
Next year’s budget defines a 10% increase in the payment of economic assistance to every family that is part of this scheme.
In regard to the special categories that are part of the direct social support and that are the orphans and women trafficked and raped and live under protection orders, the amount of economic assistance will be tripled.
These are three direct supports for strata in need, which are included in the 2022 budget package, described as the citizens’ budget.
At the same time, in 2022, the minimum wage will increase from 30 thousand ALL to 32 thousand ALL. The salaries of the doctors and nurses, teachers and members of the Armed Forces will also increase by 6%. /a.a/r.e/p.s./
