TIRANA Dec 3 /ATA/ – By I.Vata/ State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, told a media briefing that CEC will refer to prosecution office 67 members of count teams in April 25 elections.
Celibashi said that 20 cases of multiple voting were detected in two polling stations.
“Overall, there are 67 vote count staffers, ie there are 18 counting teams and 67 members that will be referred to the prosecution. All the violations assessed as criminal offences pertain to differences in the ballots, or the outcome of the vote for the candidate, not for the political party. It is not our duty to investigate and conduct verifications for these members, whether they are responsible or not for this irregularity. It is up to the prosecution to find whether all 4 members of the team or only one of them is responsible. “There are 20 cases of multiple voting in 2 polling stations”, said Celibashi. /j.p/sm/
