TIRANA, Dec 3 /ATA/ Parliament Speaker, Lindita Nikolla, received the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Anar Huseynov.
Ambassador Huseynov congratulated Nikolla on her election as Parliament Speaker and expressed the will of the Parliament and the Government of Azerbaijan to strengthen bilateral cooperation in all areas.
Our countries have shown political will to expand cooperation and further intensify bilateral relations.
Albania is grateful to the Government of Azerbaijan for its support towards the TAP project and in particular for its assistance in management of November 26, 2019 earthquake impact.
Parliament Speaker Nikolla put the emphasis on further intensification of parliamentary cooperation between Albania and Azerbaijan, which will serve not only to strengthen friendly relations, but also to expand economic cooperation in the field of tourism, energy, mineral processing, agriculture, food industry etc. /j.p/sm/
