TIRANA, November 30 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama posted a view of the Valbona National Park in the social media showing the snow that has spread all over the area.
“Here’s a view of the magical Valbona; may you have a good day”, said Rama.
Being a relaxing oasis for everyone, at an altitude of 800 meters above the sea level, Valbona National Park has visitors all year round.
The first snowfall that started yesterday has turned the park into a magical place, while the road is constantly maintained to enable the uninterrupted circulation of visitors.
Valbona National Park is an interesting complex of beauties like the Albanian Alps themselves.
Valbona Valley was declared a National Park in January 1996. This park extends over an area of 8000 hectares. It is considered the miracle of the Alps. It is located 25-30 km northwest of the town of Bajram Curri, the center of Tropoja district.
It is bordered by Thethi National Park and the protected natural area of “Gashi River”. The highway Bajram Curri-Dragobi-Valbona and Çerem crosses the area.
It has high and sharp peaks and for every season it changes the color scheme while presenting an extraordinary dynamic of images under the conditions of a valley full of surprises and with many labyrinths./p.s./
