TIRANA, Nov 26 /ATA/- On the 2nd anniversary of Nov 26 earthquake which claimed the lives of 51 persons, PM Edi Rama says that the tragedies put to the test peoples and states, but Albania has emerged stronger from this tragedy.
Rama adds that 2 years after that disaster Albania has unquestionably emerged stronger.
“Tragedies put peoples and states to the test and two years from the startling earthquake, remembering the losses, the wounds, the pain and seeing what we could do so far, we can say without fear that today we have risen stronger and we can also breathe a sigh of relief at the fact that thousands of families affected by that disaster today are better than before the disaster, ” Rama writes.
Rama expresses gratitude to those who gave first aid, but also to those who worked hard for the return of earthquake-affected residents to better, stronger and more beautiful houses.
“I sympathize with the families that lost loved ones and remain endlessly grateful to all those who gave first aid, who showed solidarity from all over the country and the world with those affected by the disaster, who worked and work tirelessly until the last family moves into a better, stronger and more beautiful home “, Rama writes.
