TIRANA, Nov. 22 /ATA/ During the first 9 months of 2021, commercial banks in the country have disbursed ALL 28.7 billion or about EUR 235 million in new loans for the purchase of houses.
Compared to the same period last year, house purchase loans increased by 60%.
Meanwhile, at the end of September 2021, the total house purchase loans portfolio increased to ALL 140.7 billion.
Bank experts noted that, the performance of the property purchase loans after the pandemic marked a positive trend throughout the country.
Investments in infrastructure and public works have increased the value of property mainly in urban and tourist areas, while the property market in the country seems to be experiencing a new cycle of growth in sales and purchases. //a.i/
