TIRANA, November 20/ATA/ Chairman of the Democratic Party in opposition Lulzim Basha stated today that in order to stop the Albanians from leaving the country, there is required a frontal confrontation with corruption, breaking the collaboration among politics, crime and oligarchy.
According to Basha, the increase of the number of applications for asylum in the EU is a national catastrophe.
“Except for the civil war, corruption is a major reason why the people leave their own country. The increase in the number of applications for asylum in the EU countries confirms once again that the massacre of April 25 didn’t solve anything for the Albanians”, said Basha.
“The end of this national catastrophe requires a frontal confrontation with corruption, breaking the cooperation among politics, crime and oligarchy that has crushed democracy and hopes for the future while the Albanian families find it impossible to live”, said Basha./j.p/p.s./
