TIRANA, November 16/ATA/ The U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken sent a letter to Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka.
In the letter that was handed over by ambassador Yuri Kim, Blinken expresses his deep gratitude for Albania offering safe heaven to Afghans.
Likewise, Blinken expresses a positive assessment of Albania contributing forces and resources to Resolute Support Mission to Afghanistan.
Blinken also commends Albania for powerful intervention at NATO’s foreign ministers ministerial on August 20.
Blinken highlights also Albania’s contribution that confirms its seriousness toward the NATO deploying more than 4 thousand service members.
Blinken also emphasizes that the USA deeply values the close relationship with Albania.
Blinken concludes his letter addressed to Xhaçka with hope of continuing the strategic partnership to advance the shared interests./p.s./
