TIRANA, Nov 12 /ATA/ The DP Secretary General, Gazment Bardhi, appealed for compliance with the Democratic Party Statute and the submission of the signatures for the meeting of the Assembly to the protocol of the Democratic Party.
At a media briefing, Bardhi said, “I express my deep concern that the Democrats and Albanians continue to be the target of mockery. You have unwittingly witnessed the process of mocking and insulting every member of the Democratic Party.”
“My appeal to anyone who deems that the National Assembly should convene claiming that they have secured a quorum to initiate procedures for the Assembly meeting is to follow the procedures according to the Statute. Not only the members, but also the minority that has believed in Mr. Berisha’s movement feel offended,” said Bardhi.
He added that, “even if 1/8 or 1/10 were reached as our data confirm, they should not be locked in the safe. Even the voice of this minority must be heard by the Party institutions.”
“My invitation is to comply with the Statute. The request should be submitted to the protocol of the Democratic Party, the institutions should review the request and the voice of the Democrats should be heard, be it the minority of minority, ” Bardhi said.
