TIRANA, November 8 /ATA/ The Coach of the national team Edoardo Reja stated today that Albania will go to England and make the most of it.
He made the statement during a press conference from Durrës where the national team has gathered in preparation for the last two challenges in the qualifiers of the World Cup “Qatar 2022″, against England and Andorra.
Asked about the match against England, Reja said that, “We will go to England and make the most of it. The loss at home versus Poland, makes it a necessity for us to go to England and play and perform as well as possible.”
Regarding the objective of the National Team, Reja said that, “We will be maximally engaged in the remaining two matches, either with England or Andorra and hope until the end. We hope that Hungary will give us a hand by stopping Poland. I will ask the players to make their best, because we want points.”
The Albanian national team has begun the gathering in context of the preparations for the last two matches of the World Cup “Qatar 2022” qualifiers against England and Andorra set for 12 and 15 November.
The red and blacks technical staff arrived on Sunday at the Tropical Complex of Durrës, as well as a part of the football players invited by Coach Edoardo Reja.
The Albanian Football Association said that there is a recent change in the National team list of the football players. Striker Ernest Muçi will be available to the National team A from today for the two upcoming matches of the 2022 World Cup.
The player of the Legia Warszawa was on the list of the U-21 National Team for the European matches against Slovenia and Kosovo, but now he will get transferred under orders of coach Reja.
Eridon Qardaku has been called to replace him in the U-21 National Team, a footballer who is active with “Bylis” and who has been before part of the U-21 team.
