TIRANA, October 29 /ATA/ The earthquake that struck Dibra region today morning damaged 16 houses.
The Ministry of Defence said that, “5 houses were identified in the administrative unit Fushë-Bulqizë, 3 houses in the administrative unit Ostren, 3 houses in the administrative unit Gjoric, 1 house in the administrative unit Shupenzë, 1 house in the administrative unit Bulqiza, 1 house in the administrative unit Zerqan ”.
The Ministry of Defence said that, “Work is continuing to identify all the consequences”.
“Fortunately, there is no loss of life of citizens and serious damage to houses that may require evacuation of residents,” said the statement.
According to the Institute of Geosciences, the quake struck at 08:34 and had its epicentre in Bulqiza with a magnitude of 4.5 Richter and a depth of 14 kilometres./m.m//a.a/p.s./
