TIRANA, Oct.22 /ATA/ The Minister of State for Parliamentary Relations, Elisa Spiropali held today a meeting with the US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim, the Director of U.S. Embassy Tirana’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, Benjamin A. Rockwell, and the USAID Foreign Service Officer, Mischere Kawas.
In her remarks, Spiropali announced that Albania has been selected to participate in the “Summit for Democracy”.
“Albania has been selected to participate in the “Summit for Democracy”, an initiative of US President Biden that brings together world leaders and other stakeholders from democratic countries, as an opportunity to share experiences and deepen cooperation in defending and advancing democracy around the world,” he said.
“We started working on coordinating the joint agenda of the summit as an excellent opportunity for Albania to work even more closely with our partners,”Spiropali said. //a.i/
