TIRANA, Oct.21 /ATA/The US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim held on Thursday a meeting with the Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Vincenzo Del Monaco.
“I held today a meeting with OSCE in Albania Ambassador Del Monaco to discuss a range of issues. We agreed that, in line with IMO recommendation, Parliament should pass constitutional reform to extend vetting mandate. Also we agreed that authorities and parties should act on recommendations of OSCE/ODIHR on elections,” the US Ambassador to Albania Yuri Kim said in a reaction.
The chairman of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla stated earlier that there will be no negotiations with the Democratic Party on the extension of the vetting term, because, according to him, the foundation of Justice Reform is the removal of any political interference. //a.i/
