TIRANA, Oct. 14/ATA/- Inspection bodies of the National Food Authority (AKU) carried out on Thursday 139 inspections and monitoring activities across the country to ensure the implementation of the food safety law.
According to AKU, during the inspections, 23 warning measures have been issued to food businesses for non-compliance with the legal and regulatory framework of food safety.
Based on the Sampling Plan, 7 samples were taken to conduct analysis of physico-chemical indicators in various food products. Also, 10,989 tons of food products have been destroyed. //a.i/
