TIRANA, October 11 /ATA/ The Albanian national team has returned home after the victory against Hungary on Saturday night.
The Red and Blacks team traveled immediately after the match to Albania to arrive at the Tropical Complex in Durrës.
The team had a break on Sunday morning, while in the afternoon the whole group held a light training session with the players who were not activated in the Hungary match and who worked harder on the field. While the players who were activated performed only a few exercises.
The Communication Department of the Albanian Football Association informed that the whole group is complete except for Bekim Balaj and the injured Berat Gjimshiti. The defender suffered a fractured arm during the match versus Hungary and will undergo surgery on Monday. In addition to Balaj and Gjimshiti in the match against Poland will be absent even Endri Çekiçi, disqualified due to cards.
Today, Coach Edy Reja and captain Etrit Berisha will appear at the official press conference at 13:00, while the team will hold the last training session.
The Red and Blacks team will play against Poland on Tuesday at the “Air Albania” stadium in Tirana in what can be called a final for the second place of Group I qualifiers for the World Cup “Qatar 2022”, and which can be rendered into a ticket for the play -off phase./p.s./
