TIRANA, Oct 5 /ATA/ In the city of Berat, work continues on the restoration of the medieval centre, which will soon become one of the destinations of Albanian tourist guides and not only.
The Director of Regional Directorate of National Culture Berat, Eugen Kallfani, published images from the work for restoration of the medieval center, specifically the interventions in the old well.
“Without these details rooted in the beautiful tradition of old wells, the restoration interventions in the medieval centre in Berat would be incomplete. The crackling of the winch, the wooden bucket hanging on the goat-wool cross and the sound of water pouring from the bucket bring back in our memory the nostalgia of old times that here, in the medieval center, are already “embodied” in the best way, ” Kallfani said.
