TIRANA, Oct. 4 /ATA/The Speaker of Parliament, Lindita Nikolla received today in a meeting the Ambassador of Japan to Albania, Mitsuyuki Takada.
Ambassador Takada congratulated Nikolla on the appointment as the Speaker of the Assembly and expressed the readiness of Japan to further expand cooperation with Albania in all areas, as well as the cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.
President Nikolla noted the good relations between Albania and Japan, which next year turn a century, and expressed gratitude for Japan’s assistance in coping with the consequences of the earthquake and support for the vaccination process.
Nikolla also praised the cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries and reconfirmed the Albania’s will to further deepen this cooperation.
“Very good political and parliamentary cooperation between our two countries should be followed by economic and trade cooperation. There are huge opportunities in Albania to increase the Japanese investments and the Assembly will contribute to a better climate for Japanese investments in Albania,” the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla said. //a.i/
