TIRANA, Sept 24/ATA/ In August alone, 1,537,191 foreign citizens entered Albania, or 2.7 times more than in August 2020.
INSTAT reported that in total, the entries of Albanian and foreign citizens in the Albanian territory in August 2021 are 2,185,493. Compared to August 2020, this indicator increased 2.6 times.
Also, according to INSTAT, the departures of Albanian and foreign citizens from the territory of Albania, during August 2021, are 2,154,672, increasing 2.5 times compared to the same period a year ago.
The departures of Albanian citizens from the territory of Albania during August 2021, are 677,842. Compared to August 2020, this number has increased 2.2 times.
Departures of foreign citizens from the territory of Albania during August 2021, are 1,476,830. Compared to August 2020, this number has increased by 2.8 times.
