TIRANA Sept 20 /ATA/ – By I.Vata/- The “Kune-Vain-Tale” Natural Park situated in Lezha is one of the most beautiful lagoons of Albania and beyond.
Other than the natural beauty, the habitat of wild birds and aquatic species, it is famed for flora diversity.
AKZM National Agency of Protected Areas has posted today a photo album of this extraordinary habitat, where the sea and lagoon, mountain streams and swamps meet, where thousands of plants and species live together in diversity.
Kune-Vain-Tale Natural Park is the first protected area in Albania. Designated a hunting area in 1940, today it has developed into a Wild Bird Habitat. The complex lagoon ecosystem, formed by the dynamics of the Drini Bay, is an important sanctuary for wintering ducks and a breeding area for many species of fish.
