PRISTINA, Sept 17 /ATA/ Currently in Kosovo there are 13, 473 active cases of COVID-19.
According to the latest data from the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK), the Municipality of Pristina has recorded the highest number of active cases of coronavirus.
The Municipality of Pristina numbers 2, 796 active cases of COVID-19, Prizren 1, 177 active cases, Ferizaj 873, Fushë Kosova 840, Podujeva 833, Peja 683, Mitrovica 609, Municipality of Gllogoc 555, Lipjan 511 active cases, Klina 476, Gjilan 468, Malisheva 430, Skenderaj 407, Suhareka 392, Gjakova 371 active cases, Rahoveci 363, Istog 285, Vushtrri 206, Vitia 20, Obiliqi 173 and Deçan 165.
Due to the spike in the number of fatalities and infections, the state and healthcare institutions re-introduced restrictions to curb the spread of infection.
The recent update on epidemiological situation released by IKShPK reports 14 fatalities and 368 new cases of COVID-19.
