TIRANA, Sept. 15/ATA/ Textbooks will be distributed free of charge to the primary school children in the first to ninth grades in Albania’s compulsory education system where there will be 280 thousand beneficiary students who will be provided with textbooks from Oxford, Cambridge, Pearson.
Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that free textbooks continue to be distributed throughout the country for students in grades 1-9. The government scheme comes to the aid of students with disabilities or economic assistance beneficiaries in grades 10-12.
In addition to distribution of free textbooks, the government has also increased funding for preschool education to enable a reduction in the number of children in kindergartens and schools. //a.i/
