TIRANA, Sept. 15/ATA/ The Bank of Albania-BoA reported today that, on Tuesday’s auction were sold ALL 8.9 billion of 12-month treasury bills, while the total amount of claims submitted at the auction reached ALL 11.8 billion.
According to the BoA, the 12-month Treasury Bill weighted average yield rate rose to 1.77%, the same as in the last auction of August.
While at the auction of the Treasury bills with a 3-month maturity, the weighted average yield rose to 0.93%, from 0.87% in the last auction.
Financial institutions, but also individuals, are seeing government securities as a good investment opportunity, ensuring satisfactory, low-risk investments. //a.i/
