TIRANA, September 14 /ATA/ Excise revenues were realized in the amount of 33.4 billion Lekë during the period January-August of the current year.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy reported that excise revenues are 5.1 billion Lekë or 18% more than in 2020, as well as 1.9 billion Lekë or 5.9% more than the excise plan for the 8-month period of the current year.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the increase in excise revenues was influenced by the increase in fuel imports by 2.8 billion Lekë, the increase in cigarette imports by 2 billion Lekë and the increase in beer imports by about 180 million Lekë. /a.a/p.s./
