TIRANA, Sept. 11/ATA/ DP MP Ferdinand Xhaferaj stated on Saturday that, the decision to expel former Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha from the Democratic Party parliamentary group avoided long-term costs for DP and Albania.
In a statement to the media at the end of the meeting of the College of chairmen in the DP, Xhaferaj said that this was the most difficult decision of this political force.
“This is the most difficult decision of this party over the past 30 years. We must keep in mind that any kind of decision to be made would be polarized and would have its costs. Even the decision not to take a decision would cost a fortune.The decision conveyed the message that all the opportunities have been exploited to provide a solution. I think it is one of the decisions that provides for the elimination of long-term costs for the Democratic Party.The long-term governance of Rama which I believe we agree on, has turned into a concern and stress for the Albanians,” Xhaferaj said. //a,i/
